Easter at Grand Point Church | For Me!
Early on Easter Sunday, Mary Magdalene and another Mary visited Jesus' tomb, discovering it empty after an angel rolled away the stone. The angel told them Jesus had risen as promised and instructed them to tell the disciples. As they hurried away, Jesus himself appeared to them.
This resurrection message explores four life-changing implications of Jesus rising from the dead:
- Your failures are not final - Through Peter's story of denial and restoration, we see that Jesus offers forgiveness and new beginnings regardless of our mistakes.
- Your life has purpose - Being "seated with Christ in heavenly realms" means believers can participate in Kingdom work with Jesus' authority and presence.
- Your life has power - The same resurrection power that raised Jesus now lives within believers, enabling them to live with peace, hope, and courage despite circumstances.
- Your death is not final - The resurrection story offers everyone a place in God's eternal narrative and the promise of life that never ends.
